4 February 2012 - Lynette Kirkman Listen to this showAn encore show from January 2008, Lynette's story is one that many masters can relate to these days. The path of mastery calls us to follow our inner calling. Sometimes this leads to another form of Reiki. Fourteen years ago her personal Reiki practice led to a move from her initial form of practice to another form. This shift in her Reiki life has been done clearly and with great thought. Her shift brings up some questions, "Are all Reiki forms of practice alike? Do they go to the same place inside the student? How to know what is a whim or resistance and what is a calling? Was this a spiritual decision or calling?" Listen in to Lynette's candid and thoughtful responses.
19 January 2012 - Collene Delaney Listen to this showIn this show there is an introduction to the theme by Holly Near, a songwriter, singer, activist with a big heart. One of her songs inspired me to ask Collene Delaney to join me in an exploration of Teacher and Student in our practices of Reiki. What are the roles? How can we open to the experience of being both teacher and student in the same moment? Are we willing to open to our natural relationship of being both sides of giving and receiving in the same moment? How do we honor those who have gone before? What impact does this have on our lives? Join Collene and I in our musings.

10 November 2011 - Fran Freeman Listen to this showPost Traumatic Stress Disorder is more than just not coping. Recognized now by the medical community as a physical, emotional, and mental response to a traumatic event, this disorder may be more prevalent than we realize. When people come out of an acknowledged obviously prolonged stressful situation such as being in a war zone or being abused continually it is not difficult to accept that something has happened. Fran's experience of being bullied in her place of work has brought her to a deep place of self awareness and compassion for herself and others in similar states of being. Her story is one of courage and insight.

After some years of practice and caring for her mother who has had multiple strokes, her grief and despondency again is raised by her ability to use the insights gained from her Reiki practice and her own inner strength. Perhaps her experience will inspire others. It certainly inspired me. Russian/English Interpretation by Nur Stepanova.
27 October 2011 - Sonja Lindstrom Listen to this showWhen Sonja and I met at the annual Northwest Reiki Gathering in Oregon, the question of themes for the radio show arose. In this interview she is sharing not only her own experience in words but in the actual nature of the interview itself. This is an experience that has profoundly touched me. We are looking to find a group of people who are willing to put some energy into compiling experiences in this area and the manner in which the practice of Reiki can support and assist in transitioning and grief.

Human beings as a part of the natural landscape can be a life changing shift in thinking. This is one of the gifts of our practice of Reiki. 16 February 2012 - Sheri Snively Listen to this showIn the New Year's Show, I read a quote from Sheri's book...Heaven in the Midst of Hell. The author of the book has added thought provoking questions in my search for a peaceful world. What does this mean? Does it mean that war is the only un-peaceful state? And can one really find humanity in the midst of a war zone? Sheri has done just that and been able to communicate this with us without over sentimentalization. This honors the reader and the people in her stories and her own experiences. I appreciated her candidness in this interview and hope for time to interview her again. Be sure to read the Forward of the book!
